Thursday, September 18
Toast to the Weekend
Join the bride and groom for an informal get together at the Wauwinet for those in town on Thursday. We’ll toast to the weekend with s’mores and drinks by the fire. We would love to see you before the official wedding festivities!
Location: The Wauwinet, 120 Wauwinet Rd, Nantucket, MA 02584
Time: 8:00 - 10:00 PM
Attire: Casual, come as you are!
Friday, September 19
We welcome you to Nantucket! Please join us on the harbor side of the White Elephant Hotel for drinks and light bites to officially kick off our wedding weekend.
Welcome Party
Location: White Elephant, 50 Easton St, Nantucket, MA, 02554
Time: 8:00 - 11:00 PM
Transportation (Wauwinet Guests): Shuttles will depart promptly at 7:45 PM to take you to the White Elephant. Shuttles will loop between the two hotels from 8:30 - 11 PM (last shuttle to Wauwinet at 11:00 PM).
Transportation (Jared Coffin House, White Elephant and other in town guests): For guests staying in town, the White Elephant is centrally located and walkable.
* If you are not staying in town, both both Ubers & taxis are available.
Attire: Coastal Cocktail Attire
Sport coats are welcomed but not required. We recommend a jacket, no tie. Keep in mind that drinks will be outside on the lawn and it can get cool at night on Nantucket in September.
Saturday, September 20
Alexis and Rex will be saying “I Do” on the beautiful grounds of the Wauwinet. The cocktail hour and reception will immediately follow the ceremony just a few steps away.
Wedding Ceremony & Reception
Location: The Wauwinet, 120 Wauwinet Rd, Nantucket, MA 02584
Time: 4:00 - 10:00 PM
Transportation (Jared Coffin House and other in town guests): Shuttles will be available at 16 Broad Street (directly across from Whaling Museum) and will depart promptly at 3:00 PM.
Transportation (White Elephant Guests): Transportation will be provided from the White Elephant and will depart promptly at 3:00 PM.
*If you are not staying in town, Ubers & taxis are available.
Attire: Black tie - color encouraged!
Please note when selecting footwear that the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on grass. Keep in mind it can get cool at night on Nantucket in September.
Saturday, September 20
Just because Nantucket has a noise ordinance of 10pm doesn’t mean the party has to stop! We’re moving inside to continue the fun.
After Party
Location: TOPPER’s at the Wauwinet, 120 Wauwinet Rd, Nantucket, MA 02584
Time: 10:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Transportation: Shuttles will be available on a loop to take guests back from the Wauwinet to the Whaling Museum and the White Elephant. Shuttle pickup times from the Wauwinet are at 8:30 PM, 9:30 PM, 10:00 PM, 11:00 PM, 12:00 AM and 1:00 AM.
